As a food reviewer of the renowned Restaurant World, I had the pleasure of exploring the culinary delights of L'Appartement 4F. Their menu boasts a variety of mouth-watering treats, including the must-try pistachio rose croissant and almond croissant.
What sets L'Appartement 4F apart is not just its scrumptious offerings, but also its cozy ambiance and welcoming atmosphere. Customers rave about the delightful flavors and the perfect execution of each pastry.
One standout dish that caught my attention was the rose pistachio croissant - a delicate balance of sweet and savory that left me wanting more. The flaky texture and rich flavors of this pastry truly impressed me. Another highlight was the pistachio financier, which exceeded my expectations in taste and presentation.
Overall, L'Appartement 4F is a must-visit for pastry enthusiasts looking to indulge in authentic French delicacies. Whether you're in the mood for a leisurely brunch or a quick treat to-go, this bakery offers a delightful experience for all. Don't miss out on this culinary gem in Brooklyn!

I've been hearing a lot about this place and finally made it over there today. It's a small, charming place. There was a bit of a wait outside but the line moved quickly enough. I had an iced latte ($5.5) and tried the almond croissant ($5) as well as the pistachio rose croissant ($8). Coffee was solid and both croissant were really yum! It's also close to the Brooklyn heights promenade which is where I sat down with my dog and enjoyed everything. Definitely a lovely way to spend a Saturday morning. PS: I loved that I got to bring my dog inside to order, however the space is quite small and we had to wait for a little while to get my coffee during which I kinda struggled to not get my pup stepped on so wouldn't recommend bringing them if you have other options.

This place has one of the best pistachio croissants I've had! The chocolate croissant was a little lack luster so I would only get the pistachio rose one next time. The line itself moves pretty fast and I have definitely waited much longer for croissants before. I liked how there was plenty of seating indoor and out, and it clears up pretty fast.

I finally made it here to order some pastries to go. Their rose pistachio croissant is so unique. The pistachio was the salty to the rose's sweet. The croissant muffins were also delicious. I'm not the biggest fan of chocolate chip cookies but theirs was also amazing! Definitely a must visit if you're in Brooklyn.

Delicious and cute little bakery in Brooklyn! I've been wanting to try this place ever since they first blew up over COVID. (I am so charmed by their story of how they started as a small business selling croissants out of their apartment!) I got Le Framboise (the raspberry almond croissant) which was one of their best sellers (along with the Pistachio Raspberry Croissant). I absolutely loved this pastry. The tartness of the raspberry jam filling really cut through the buttery croissant and the sweet almond frangipane. I thought the croissant had great flakiness and flavor too. The combination of raspberry and almond worked really well together which surprised me a bit. I will say the croissant felt a bit greasy (but then again croissants are like 50% butter) which was a slight negative. It's a bit out of my way so I don't think I'd come back if I wasn't in the area. But, overall, had a good experience here!

Dropped by on a Friday morning and there was a short but quick line out the door. You order on the first floor, and you take your goods upstairs to eat. It's a super cute space with portraits decorating the walls. A great place to chat with friends, read or book and get some work done on your computer (I saw people doing all of these things when I went). There's also a bathroom on the second floor. We got the chocolate and raspberry almond croissants. Both were really good - flaky and soft, with a generous amount of filling. I liked the raspberry almond one better since the tartness of the raspberry cut through the almond paste filling. Could definitely see myself coming back to hang out, read a book, and get a sweet treat!

I'm not from Brooklyn and had no expectations going into this place, but I thought it was fantastic! Luckily we didn't even catch a long line. The croissants are perfect - flakey on the outside and so soft inside. It comes as no surprise that the couple who owns the place is from Paris. Although be warned, they are significantly more buttery than most croissants I've had! What really blew me away is the rose pistachio - the filling was to die for!! It almost reminded me of halwa? Super indulgent but absolutely delicious! I would come back just for this. The raspberry almond was really good but the flavors didn't "wow" me as much as the rose pistachio. It's a best seller so that could just be me! The chocolate was also good but not the best I've had, as I would have preferred more chocolate in it. It also wasn't as flakey as the others either. The pistachio milk latte was great. Overall probably a 4.5/5. Still dreaming of the rose pistachio croissant you guys...

Got there ten minutes before opening on Sunday morning and there was already a six person line. The aroma of the bakery welcomes you before you even step inside and I honestly wish I had gotten more of their items. The food was so good I only got one picture before we gobbled everything up. Jambon croissant was the best I've ever had, their pain au chocolat was delicious and the framboise was sensational. They also make a mean iced matcha. 10/10, would definitely return.

L'Appartment 4F is l'absolute best! This French bakery makes some of the most amazing croissants (and bread) you can find. They're hand rolled with love. This place was built out of hosting parties in their small Brooklyn apartment. Owners Gautier and Ashley have curated this little place welcoming all. Bakery by day, this little spot that has lines forming out the door has an alter ego as the sun sets. It turns into a wine bar at night and brings out the L'Apero personality. Can't wait to come back for this! Absolutely obsessed with this cute little French bakery. It's loved by all, locals and tourists. Dogs welcome :)

Perfect 5/5 for L'Appartement 4F - perfect execution of the croissant and pistachio financier that exceeds even that of Tin Building, Radio Bakery, and Bakeri. Their focaccia was a bit too defense with a little too much oil for my liking, but still delicious nonetheless. I do prefer focaccia at Radio Bakery, however. Not really a long long line here per se, but it's totally worth it granted they have cute French cafe style seating upstairs. Really wanted to the mini croissants cereal but guess we have to come earlier in the morning for it next time. Also will definitely try out the cookie next time as well!

This place blew up on Instagram and so I had to try it. Guys, the hype is real, the croissants here are delicious! There was a line out the door as we arrived in midday on a weekend but the line went by very quickly and we were happy to find seating very quickly upstairs for a party of 4 which I was surprised about. L'Appartement 4F seems like a place where people would sit here forever, but it was actually very easy to find a place to sit. - Tomato Focaccia - I was kind of skeptical of this at first as by first bite, it felt like a very mediocre pizza. But the more I ate it, the more I fell in love as the focaccia was very gluten-y in the best way possible. Also the oily-ness from the tomato dripped all throughout the porous bread. Not sure if this is the best focaccia I ever had, but it was damn good. - Rose Pistachio Croissant - This was AMAZING! The croissant itself is incredibly light and full of flavor while not being oily so honestly getting a plain one would have already made me very happy. But then they added rose and pistachio flavors and it was beautiful and delicious. I loved the subtle hints of rose and the pistachio spread on the inside. Even though the croissant was a bit flat, it still felt very fluffy in the middle. Overall, delicious eat in Brooklyn and can't wait to come back for more croissants!
